At Outboard Trader LLC, customer satisfaction is important to us. Please review our return and refund terms before making a purchase.

30-Day Return Policy

We accept eligible returns within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return, the item must be:

  • In the same condition in which it was received

  • Unused and not installed

  • Complete with all included parts and accessories

  • Returned in its original packaging where applicable

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Outboard motors that have been installed, operated, modified, damaged after delivery, or otherwise used are not eligible for standard returns unless they qualify under an applicable warranty or consumer protection law.

How to Request a Return

Contact Outboard Trader LLC within 30 days of receiving your order and provide your order number, reason for the return, and relevant photos if the product is damaged or incorrect.

Please do not ship an item back until your return request has been approved and return instructions have been provided.

Return Shipping

Unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

For an incorrect, damaged, or defective item attributable to us, we will provide appropriate return instructions and cover eligible return shipping costs.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your product arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photographs of the product and packaging.

Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of your refund.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for the refund to be processed. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time for the funds to appear in your account.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return resulted from an error on our part or otherwise required by applicable law.

Exchanges

If you need a different model or horsepower, contact us to discuss available exchange options. Any price difference and applicable shipping charges will be communicated before an exchange is completed.

Cancellations

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order. Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled and must follow our standard return process.
